Classic Wire Expands Operations in Texas

January 3, 2023, Virginia Beach, VA – Classic Wire & Cable has announced the opening of their newest distribution center in Katy, Texas. This new facility will service the growing need for building wire and cable in the central and southern parts of the United States.

“We now have over 205,000 sq ft of warehouse space which enables us to facilitate faster and more efficient deliveries to our customers in Texas and the surrounding states,” said George Merritt, VP Sales & Marketing.

By taking operations to Texas, Classic Wire & Cable will now have more capacity for the value-added services it is known for, such as paralleling, cut-to-order lengths, and pulling eyes. The warehouse will also assist Classic’s mission to fully stock quality products and be able to support distributors nationwide with shorter shipment times.

This is Classic’s third national distribution center, following Pennsylvania and California. Operations from Katy will begin in early 2023.
